Mission Field Report March 2011
HOME SCHOOLING
Jeremy and Anna continue working hard at the end of this school year. Jeremy is going to graduate from ESO (obligatory education here in Spain),. We are not sure if we will be able to receive his “diploma”. Because homeschooling is not recognized here in Spain we have been working through a recognized American institution, yet even that may not help us. Please pray for wisdom and the leading of the Lord in this area. Jeremies has a big project for this year. He would like to attend the second course on “Advanced Space Camp”. We have been trying to apply to a scholarship but he is not eligible (he already received one scholarship and cannot receive another). Although the course is not very expensive (one thousand dollars), is more of what we can afford. We are praying for God´s will do be done. Anna continues learning the Piano and now Violin. She is the “artist” of our family.
YOUTH AND CHILDREN´S CLUB
We had a great outing with the youth this month. We walk for several hours in the skirts of the Pyrenees mountain. Yet the most important has not been our “walk” through nature, but our walk with the Lord. I am able to see a precious spiritual growth in the teenagers. Some of them are taking more and more good decisions in order to serve the Lord with their lives. We thank the Lord for Anuarg. A young man that spent three years in prison and was saved there. We are having Bible studies with him and Lin, a 17 years old young girl that has a two year old baby… It is a long story and I will share it with more details, but I need your prayers for Anuarg and Lin they are coming from the pit of sin, and now they found Salvation in the Lord.
BILE INSTITUTE
I thank the Lord how he is supplying and opening the door for this ministry. We have been contacted by several young people that want to come to our institute. We are praying that the Lord will help us in this needed ministry. It is a special joy for me to see my own son, Daniel, coming to the classes and learning God´s Word for the ministry. We continue recording the classes on videotape or mp3. Several of this recordings have been sent as far as Uruguay, and the United States. While I am writing this letter I have received a telephone call from a business man that wants to donate us some office material.. The Lord provides!!!!, He has always been so faithful to us. We want to be faithful to Him accomplishing our calling and labor for His glory. .
